Tell us about yourself!
I love to travel and spend time with my family. My biggest goals in life are to inspire others, travel to Bora Bora, and be the best version of myself I can be.
What does “Strong” mean to you and what makes you a Strong Girl?
Strong means that I am fierce and powerful, and willing to help and understand others. I am a Strong Girl because I am powerful, fierce and love to help others. I’m a Strong Girl because I am driven to make a difference.
What excites you about being a Strong Girl Campus Ambassador?
I’m most excited about being motivated and helping other young women to feel motivated. I think building a community and having that support system will really impact the lives of the Strong Girls!
What is your favorite thing about The Strong Movement™?
I love how organic and natural the process has been of getting the word out about TSGM. I can already tell that this year is going to be amazing!
How do you envision The Strong Movement™ growing on your campus as a community of motivated, encouraging and supportive group of girls?
I envision it growing on campus through Greek Life, and focusing more on a healthy mind and body, not just getting fit and doing intense workouts. I think it will help the girls to understand themselves better and become more confident.
When did you discover fitness & healthy living and decide to make it part of your lifestyle?
It’s always been a part of my life, and as I grow older I learn more and more about what exercises and foods I love that make me feel healthy and strong!
How has exercise and healthy living increased your confidence and self-esteem?
It’s transformed my mind and body. When I eat healthy and exercise, I feel unstoppable! I just want to keep going and going.
What challenges and/or injuries have you had to overcome on your fit journey?
I had to quit track my freshman year of high school because of a stress fracture in my tibia. I’m healed now, and love to do intense, sprints, or longer jogs.
What keeps you motivated when the going gets tough?
Pinterest, The Strong Movement and other Instagram accounts. I really try and follow inspiring accounts and pin photos of things that will help me to get up and moving but that are also realistic goals for myself.
What do you love about your body?
I love my body as a whole. I love that I have strong legs.
What do you wake up looking forward to and excited about everyday?
I wake up and excited about seeing people I love, and doing something I enjoy.
Do you have any daily rituals?
Taking my vitamins every morning, watching a YouTube video every night, and journaling before bed!
